Passenger opinion poll: "Rīgas satiksme’s" most useful service in summer season was free public transport during Riga festival

A majority of passengers believe that the most useful service of "Rīgas satiksme" in summer season was free public transport during Riga festival. It is evidenced by the results of an opinion poll carried out on the website of "Rīgas satiksme".

When evaluating the services provided by "Rīgas satiksme" during the last summer season, 49% respondents said the most useful was free public transport during Riga festival, but 29% believe it was the night transport which allowed returning home after various festive events.

A significant part of respondents, 19%, expressed opinion that possibility of going to beaches of Vakarbuļļi and Mangaļsala was also useful, but 3% said the most useful service was the Retro tram.

More than 1800 "Rīgas satiksme" website visitors took part in the opinion poll which was carried out in September 2013.
